Stop animal cruelty

If I had the capability to change one thing in our world, just one, it would be to put a stop to animal cruelty. To end it, so that it would become extinct, just like so many innocent animals who have become victims to this harsh, heartless reality.

I would stop the dancing bears, I would end the circus lions, I would liberate all animal slaves and set them free. I would take them to a place where they wouldn’t have to worry about poachers, hunters and people with no consideration for animals and their rights. They would be safe from all forms of cruelty.

I would make strong laws to protect against animal cruelty. I would impose huge fines and sentence people to years in prison if they were ever caught inflicting any kind of cruelty to animals. Most importantly, I would treat all animals with kindness and respect and I would encourage others to do so.

Humans and animals would be at one with each other. Elephants would keep their ivory tusks and leopards would retain their spotty fur. Animals of all shapes and sizes would be free to live in their natural environment and not enclosed within tanks and cages.

Animal cruelty is something so terrible that it is hard to find words to describe it. No words can even come close to describing what this sickening crime can do to so many of God’s wonderful creatures. Words are not adequate to describe what those poor defenseless animals must feel when they are whipped and belted, when they are forced to dance just to entertain, when they are chained and imprisoned, subjected to a life of cruelty and pain.
