Allow everyone to surf

If I could change the world I would give everyone a surfboard and teach them how to surf. For me surfing is a favorite pastime. It helps you relax and to get relieved from the problems of today’s world. Everyone needs a break from life sometimes. When I surf I feel as free as can be. I feel like there is nothing wrong and everything flows as freely as the waves. Also it is not only good for taking your mind off things and relaxing, it is good exercise as well. You use many muscles. You use your arms and chest for paddling and your lower body and legs for kicking and pumping the board when riding. There are way too many overweight people in the world (especially in the U.S.) and this will help as opposed to have to run or jog every morning. Who wants to do that when you can surf?

Most of all surfing is fun. It is fun for all ages; whether you are a young kid, a teenager, or an older adult, everyone can have fun. Also there are different styles that fit different people. There are some people that like to surf in competitions and some that are soul surfers, and do it just for the sheer joy it brings. You can be a short boarder who likes quick paces, sharp turns, and barrels, or you can be a long boarder who likes a calm, peaceful, long, slow, and enjoyable ride.

The art of surfing can be understood by some, enjoyed by many, but helpful to all.
